 ISA is a private day school established in 1984 that serves the
needs of Muslim students living in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan
area. ISA is a university preparatory, bilingual school with an
enrollment approaching 1,000 students. The student composition is 26 % Saudi Arabian. ISA prepares its students for university placement
in the United States and abroad, and successful graduates have gone
on to attend major universities including Harvard, Princeton, M.I.T.,
George Washington, and Georgetown.
Admissions
for grade Pre-K - 12: The first priority is given to
sons and daughters of Saudi Arabian nationals living in the United
States. Children of Saudi Arabian diplomats or others persons on
Saudi governmental assignment must be given admission. The second
admissions priority is given to the sons and daughters of diplomats
from other Arab and Muslim countries residing in the Washington,
D.C. area. The third priority is given to young people from other
Muslim countries and Muslim families residing in the Washington,
D.C. area. Finally, on a space available basis, the Academy also
accepts other applicants. These applicants must agree to follow
ISA's academic standards and are admitted without regard to race,
sex, creed, or national origin.
Important Notice: Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you that for the school year of 2008/2009, there will be no Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten classes at the Islamic Saudi Academy.
The Academy will be in the process of renovating the buildings at the West Campus and that will require a consolidation of space.
The first grade, for the school year 2008/2009, will move and be accommodated for their classes at the Main Campus in Alexandria, VA.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this will cause you and your family and look forward to seeing your children when they enter first grade.
