In the winter season, The Academy played both varsity and Middle School boys basketball schedules with teams in The Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference League (NVIAC).
The head coach of ISA Basketball Teams is Coach Kevin Harris and the assistant coach is Coach Deen Mohamed. The teams have had a good deal of success again. The ISA Basketball Teams completed the 2010- 2011 season with a winning record. Overall, the season was a big success, and many students performed at a high level.
The Academy played both Middle School boys basketball schedules with teams in Mount Vernon basketball Youth and Cardinal League.
