From I-95
- Use Exit 166 at the Fairfax County Parkway (7100) for
Newington/Ft. Belvoir (if you are coming up I-95 from the
south there is only one exit at 166 and at the top of the exit
ramp, bear right on to the Fairfax County Parkway (Route
7100). If coming down I-95 from the north, exit at Exit 166A
which is the second exit at Exit 166 and you will circle back
up on to Route 7100). After getting on the Fairfax County
Parkway (7100), proceed about 3 miles to the light at US Route
1 (Richmond Highway) where Fairfax County Parkway ends and
turn left. As you approach the 2nd light (about 1 mile) use
the right lane bearing off US Route 1 which takes you directly
to the Pence Gate. Check in at the security post and follow
the directions below to the field from Pence gate. These roads
and the Fort Belvoir Pence Gate (Main Gate) are well marked.
From the Capital Beltway Exit 1 (US Route 1 Richmond
Highway) - Take US Route 1 South to the Pence Gate which is
about 8 miles down US Route 1 South. Turn left at the traffic
light at Belvoir Road. The Pence Gate light is the 2nd light
after the light at the Woodlawn Plantation/ Mount Vernon
Highway intersection. Follow directions below to get to the
field from Pence gate. These roads and the Fort Belvoir Pence
Gate (Main Gate) are well marked.
From Pence Gate AFTER checking in - Pass through the Pence
Gate, traveling on Belvoir Road, proceed to 9th St, the first
right after the gate, turn right, proceed to the end of 9th
St, a T-intersection, make a right on to Gunston Road, this
will take you back over US Route 1 on a bridge to the 4 way
stop at Goethals Road, make a right and proceed to the parking
lot and fields a short distance ahead on the right. (Pence
Gate is on the opposite side of US Route 1 from the fields.
The fields are visible from US Route 1 but can no longer be
accessed directly from US Route 1). Lee-Mt. Vernon's Ft.
Belvoir field for SFL games is designated Field #2 which is
the field in front of the bleachers, closest to Route 1.

From I-495 - Take Route 1 North (Exit 1) which is Patrick
Street. Turn left at Wythe Street and go to West Street. (You
will be across from the Braddock Road Metro station.) Go
through light onto Braddock Road and go under train tracks.
Turn right on Mount Vernon Avenue. School is immediately on
the right. Turn right into second parking lot (before school
building). Field is behind school.
From George Washington Parkway - Follow Parkway South to Old
Town. It will become Washington Street. Turn right onto Wythe
Street and follow directions above.

From 495 - Exit onto Braddock Road West. Proceed to Guinea
Road and turn left. Take the next left and turn onto Olley
Lane. Follow Olley and turn right on Lake Braddock Drive. Go
past 2 houses and you will see woods. The fields are behind
the woods and park on the street. The park is about 0.6 miles
from Lake Braddock High School. ************************************************************************
South Run Park - Burke Ath.//Springfield

From 95 - Take Springfield exit at junction of 495 and 95
which is Old Keene Mill Road (do not go toward Franconia).
Stay on Old Keene Mill Road for about 6 miles and turn left on
Lee Chapel Road. Follow Lee Chapel until junction of Fairfax
County Parkway. Take left on the Fairfax County Parkway and
fields are on right. Note: Due to construction, Lee Chapel
Road is temporarily closed to Fairfax County Parkway.
Therefore, stay on Old Keene Mill Road all the way to Fairfax
County Parkway and turn left. Go about 3/4 mile and the fields
are on the right.
From Fairfax City - Take Route 123 South about 2 or 3 miles
and go past Braddock Road. Shortly past Burke Center Parkway,
you will turn onto Fairfax County Parkway South which is
toward Springfield. Stay on Fairfax County Parkway and just
past the intersection of Lee Chapel Road you will see a
traffic light with South Run Park on the right.
Get on
95 South. Take the Dale City-Potomac Mills exit. At the first
fork, bear Right (Left brings you to Rippon Landing and No. VA
Community College). Then there is another fork; bear Left to
go to Dale Blvd. instead of to Potomac Mills. Stay on Dale
Blvd. a long time. You will pass a shopping center on your
left with a "Giant" grocery store in it (Center Plaza). Keep
going. Look for Stuart M. Beville Middle School on your Left.
Just after the school turn Left onto Lindendale Road. On the
Right look for Enterprise Elementary School. Sandwiched in
between the school and a small church on the right is Vepco
Field #3 (It is unmarked, under some power lines).

fields:
Take FairfaxCounty Pkwy to I-66. Go west to
Route 28-north. 1st light is Braddock Rd on left and Walney on
the right. Pass through this intersection to the next light
and turn left. This takes you into the parking lot. Go to the
far left and #1 field is beyond the basketball court. Can't be
seen from the parking lot.
The
Park is just a few minutes from our school.
From the school, take West Ox Road to the intersection of
Route
29 (Lee Highway) and turn right on to 29 South and travel 1.7
miles to the light at Stringfellow Road (645 East) - turn
right
and travel 0.2 miles along Stringfellow to the light at Autum
Willow Drive and turn right into the parking lot of the park.
Walk up the Hill to the top field.

" Cross over Rt. 66 and Idylwood Park is on the left

the 1-495 exit- 18- towards Baltimore/Richmond.
Keep right at the fork in the ramp.
Merge onto 1-495 S.
Take the us-1 S exit- exit number 177A-towards FT Belvoir.
